Assignments

A list of my assignments and my responses. 

• Write a minimum of two paragraphs and explain what the intention of your blog.
  
• Post a minimum of three images of your artwork. Then write a minimum of two paragraphs explaining what media you are using and why you created these pieces.
  
• Research online and select an art event (show, opening, performance). Post the link to the event. Go to the event and write a minimum of two paragraphs about the event.
  
• Research and select an artist that you admire. Post a minimum of three images of their work. Critique each art piece in a minimum of two paragraphs per image.
  
• Think about your artwork as a whole object. What are the underlying themes and ideas? Write a minimum of three paragraphs about your themes and explain your art.
  
• Using any digital camera (cell phone included), track one of your days. Using the camera to give the viewer a look into your day. These images can be abstract or literal. Create a photo-montage using any program we have used in the class.
  
• Interview a fellow classmate (someone from class OR one that is taking an art class). During the interview, ask them about their art making process, concepts, inspiration, and media. Write a three paragraph "article" about them. Make sure to include an image of them and their artwork.
  
• After taking this course and learning different computer programs, write a minimum of three paragraphs about digital art and what you found interesting about it. Will you continue to make digital art? What was your favorite program? etc
